18 February 2018
Dear fellow MDM Alumni, Students and Development Professionals,
LEAD. INSPIRE. TRANSFORM. The challenge for each of us Alumni of the Master in Development Management (MDM) at the Asian Institute of Management – to bring out the best of our potentials to lead, inspire and transform our organizations in helping uplift the lives of people we touch and contribute in solving complex problems in business and our society.
As the Asian Institute of Management celebrates its 50th year anniversary, IMDM would like to invite you once again to join us for a Roundtable Forum, fellowship and planning workshop on March 7, 2018 at the Lopez Case room during the AIM Alumni Homecoming week.
In the morning, we will engage with Mr. Leandro Leviste – President, Solar Philippines to listen to their inspiring story – their vision of ending energy poverty by 2022 in the Philippines, with concrete actions at their first social impact project bound to fulfil many dreams of the 20,000 lives in the remote town of Paluan, Occidental Mindoro. Know more about it in their website – https://www.solarphilippines.ph/about-us/.
The trailblazing thrust of Solar Philippines as our case study for the day, resonates with our own mission to improve the lives of people and pursue Sustainable Development. We will certainly be able to draw lessons learnt and insights for our strategic planning workshop in the afternoon. What would be our own story for the journey ahead?
As an additional input in our planning session, and from ideas captured in the Roundtable forum last year, I invite you to visit our website – http://imdmanagers.org/. We will build and evolve our website with the many stories of development professionals, Sustainable Development best practices and will serve to strengthen our network, among many other opportunities and possibilities.
Please confirm your participation with our Secretariat – Arlene Lira (cp 09568502027 and 09254937160).
To help defray cost, and for renewal of annual IMDM membership, we will collect PhP 1,500 each.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to celebrating with you AIM’s 50th.
