A Message from the Chairman of the Board
 Greetings to one and all, despite the troubled times we live in!
Newspaper headlines of today read like a litany of tribute to a chaotic world. There is no stopping this global development. It can only be met with new ways of thinking which, in turn, must be nurtured through new ways of learning. Both thinking and the learning must be equal to the challenges and opportunities of the unfolding global village: visionary, dynamic, creative, liberating and transformative.
The current global turmoil consists largely of issues commonly held as proper subjects of development management: governance, human rights and civil rights, environmental protection, gender equality, peace fostering and education, to name just a few.
Let's continue to do our share in building bridges in all fields of human encounter and endeavor. We should witness and nurture the communion of all peoples, the realization of one humanity sharing and enriching one global community.
Let this be our task today -- our project, our dream, our lasting heritage.
